I've been active in community services in one way or another as long as I can remember. Today I concentrate on using Amateur Radio to that end. I was first licensed in 2000, Tech + code at 5 WPM and have since progressed to Extra. Today I'm an ARRL member, an assistant EC and assistant RACES officer with an excellent group here in Monroe County, Indiana and the PIO for the Bloomington Amateur Radio Club. I became a VE in January and I am very excited to have been named to the ARRL Public Relations Committee for 2009.
