A wonder to behold, the RD-98 is a 17" dualband HT antenna that is only 1/16th of an inch in diameter. The antenna is made of extremely strong and very flexible material -- you can even tie it in a knot without hurting it! This combination of strength and gain (2.15 dBi on Two Meters and 3.2 dBi on 70 Centimeters) has made the RD-98 the favorite antenna of emergency service volunteers and portable packet operators everywhere. The antenna's BNC (or SMA) connector is even fitted with a black rubber guard to keep out moisture

Cushcraft MA5B

The Laird (Cushcraft) MA5B is the newest multiband HF antenna to provide five band directivity in a package small enough to mount to a tripod. The MA5B is a design that does not sacrifice ruggedness, performance and power handling for size and ease of installation. It is easy to tune with no complicated gamma matches to adjust. And it is easy to turn! With a boom length of 7 feet and a longest element length of 17 feet, an average TV rotor will do the trick. And you get a flat response across all five bands. Cushcraft's tried and true stainless steel mounting hardware and heavy wall aluminum tubing make for a rugged, long lasting antenna. Only one coaxial feed line is necessary for all five bands.

Computer-aided modeling and test range techniques were used by Cushcraft engineers to further optimize the performance of our popular 6 meter Yagis. This process means more gain and cleaner patterns with excellent front-to-back ratios. S-models have very broad bandwidth so they will not detune in bad weather. They feature stainless steel hardware for long trouble-free life. Enjoy the new popularity and exciting contacts on the 6 meter band with one of the S-series Laird Yagis.

Beam,Dualband,5el + 5el 2m,70cm,10, 10,one boom. Increase your range by selecting Cushcrafts dual band Yagi. You can point the antenna at stations while you are in QSO with them. This will direct more of your output power when transmitting at the same time reducing interference and increasing signal strength when receiving. These antennas are perfect for packet applications.
