I have been involved with amateur radio since I was fourteen years old which is when I got my novice ticket. (WN3FKG) I'm currently not as active as I would like to be on the bands but hope to have the HF station back on the air by summer. In addition to ham radio I enjoy reading, movies, tinkering with computers and playing with my grand daughters. I earn my living working for the information systems department of a fortune 500 company and like my work. I have become a big proponent of the Linux operating system and enjoy using it in the ham shack.
