I first got licensed in 1987 when I was at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and WPIWA's club station, W1YK was a great place for me to get my feet wet. I now have my Extra and am in the Boston Amateur Radio Club. I do Skywarn in the area, get on HF when I get the chance, and still enjoy SWLing as much as I always did.
