I've been a ham since 1984 but my interest in amateur radio started way back by my grandparent's next door neighbor who was a ham radio operator. His name was Levi Tell - W6IEC. He's no longer with us but his call sign lives on as a vanity call for the "Inland Empire Council of Amateur Radio Org" in Moreno Valley. I wish I had a chance to thank him for getting me started in this wonderful hobby called Amateur Radio. My HF rig is a Kenwood TS-830S. My handi talkies are a Icom 91AD for that D-Star thing & the other is a Kenwood TH-F6 because it's cute. Not enough space to list the other radios because they seem to multiply when I'm not looking. 73.
